Retablo

A beautifully detailed and delicate retablo by Alcidez Quispe, from Peru. Brad and I saw this in the Mixcoatl Arts and Crafts, a tiny fascinating shop in the Mission District of San Francisco. The girl skeleton with forget-me-not flowers looks so spritely and cheerful, she immediately reminded me of Toby. It’s now in Toby’s shrine.
